Maxine Reyes is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/actress. Maxine was born in Jamaica of Black and Chinese heritage. She grew up in Marlie Hill, Manchester where her family sang in her local church. She grew to love the craft and later decided to pursue singing, but not before securing money for college. She migrated to the United States and after graduating from Miramar High, FL she joined the United States Air Force and later received a degree in Information Management and a Bachelor of Science in Management. The Jamaican native shares her accent in more ways than one! She has a striking smile, and the best all around personalities! Maxine's style can be described as blending sultry R&B grooves with Reggae which she labeled "Rhythm & Reggae". Maxine won many of her followers by singing the National Anthem at sports games and ceremonies filled with dignitaries. She has performed for the President of the United States of America at the Miami Arena, the Florida Marlins, and the City of Miami Beach's 4th of July Celebration. While serving in the United States Air Force, she was featured in uniform at multiple venues during her tour of duty. After completing technical school at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, she was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB in North Carolina, California, and now lives in Florida. Some performances include the IBF World Championship on SHOWTIME television, Capital City Military Gala, Sacramento Convention Center, Arco Arena, the Florida Medical Association's Annual Convention for the Delegates of the Association, the Miami Grand Prix Opening Ceremony, the Toyota Indy 300 car races at the Homestead Speedway, and at the 2003 and 2004 Fort Lauderdale Air and Sea Show aired on ABC, FOX and ESPN television networks, performing for an audience of more than 4.5 million. She completed her debut Japanese tour in July 2003, and immensely enjoyed the intimate rapport she established with her audience. She gained many fans that are looking forward to her upcoming debut album. Maxine is a vibrant and energetic artist and her passion for her music is exhibited in her stage performance. She is loved by many and her broad appeal has won ardent supporters wherever she has performed. Her upcoming debut album "Life...Celebrate to the Max" contains 12 original compositions to include the hits: "If You Want Me" a dancehall hype featured on the compilation album entitled "Serenade", which includes Atlantic Records Platinum recording Artist Sean Paul and Don Yute; "Wickedest Man" featuring General Degree which melted the airwaves in Jamaica "Cool Me Down" by producer Michael Jacas; "Calling", a soulful ballad ready to be featured on a movie soundtrack; "Slowrider", a slow and sexy groove; "Never Be the Same" talks about heartbreak; "Feel the Beat", a Latin/Dance song, the title track "Life...Celebrate to the Max", a positive and uplifting confidence booster and more. Her versatility is loved by everyone. Maxine is said to be one of the most talented upcoming female artists.
